We have amazing news this year as we celebrate yet another year in the wonderful life of the Alma Doepel Australian-built 3-masted tall wooden ship.

We are so excited to announce Alma is going to the Hobart Wooden Boat Festival 5-8 Feb 2027.

This will be Alma Doepel’s first major interstate voyage following her restoration and an extraordinary milestone for everyone who has supported the ship over many years.  It also marks 50 years since the Alma Doepel departed Hobart for her new life in Victoria working with young people.

But there is still a great deal of work ahead, and the decision has been made. Alma Doepel is going to Hobart.
