Alma Doepel at the Melbourne Boat Show
Come to the Melbourne Boat Show and step on board Alma Doepel, a newly restored 121 year old Australian built tall ship.
Take a tour around the new deck and see how Alma is being transformed back to her former glory, and the work in progress as she transforms once again to her role as a Youth Sail Training ship.
Learn the art of tying knots and learn how to baggy wrinkle. There is so much to learn about life at sea once you step on board this historic Australian tall ship..
The Alma Doepel has spent the last 12 years under restoration at the end of North Wharf Rd Victoria Harbour, Docklands. The Melbourne Boat Show will be her first venture across the harbour to NewQuay where visitors will have the first opportunity to see the amazing progress with the restoration and walk the decks. .
We are asking a small donation of $5 that will go towards the restoration. Tickets will be available online at https://www.trybooking.com/CVWTK or you can pay on the day.
